This month’s discussion will be looking at performance based incentives (PBI) for improving supply chain effectiveness, especially in regards to central medical stores. This is also sometimes referred to as performance based financing. In this discussion we will look at how PBI was applied in Mozambique and the results of that effort in both quantitative and qualitative terms. Leading this discussion are three people who were directly involved in this effort, Brian Serumaga, Cary Spisak, and James Rosen.
