Dear IAPHL Members,

I hope this monthly letter finds you all well.  I delayed a bit in sending the letter out because I wanted to share the news that we have hired our new executive director.  Mr. Timilehin Michael Omale (Timi) based in Nigeria will be joining us in mid-March.  He will be assuming the role of executive director officially on April 1st after completing a couple of weeks of orientation.  More news about Timi later.

We are still in the recruitment phase for the Africa based (50%) global community manager.  We are extending the deadline to apply to February 22nd.  For anyone wishing to apply, please note that this position requires fluency in both French and English. For more information and to apply visit the JSI website.

As we have posted on the listserv, the members of the new Governing Council have been elected and informed.  The first meeting of the council will be held on February 28th.

We are currently in discussions about offering some new webinars in the coming months.  We will most likely be conducting one in conjunction with our Zimbabwe Country Chapter on Supply Chain Advocacy.  As always, we welcome ideas from our members for webinar subjects.

So, I will end here.

All the best,

Walter Proper, IAPHL Executive Director
