IAPHL enables people working in public health supply chains, especially in the global south, connect, learn, and succeed. The association envisions a world where strong and well-run supply chains reach all people with life-saving health products and supports logisticians worldwide by providing a forum for members to network, exchange ideas, and improve skills. Building on this, IAPHL will be sponsoring another group of members to participate in the Health & Humanitarian Logistics Conference scheduled to hold from Wednesday, July 10 to Thursday, July 11, 2019 in Kigali, Rwanda.
The sponsorship will provide for conference registration, transportation, meals, and accommodation. Sponsorship beneficiaries will be required to share their conference experiences with other members with a daily post on the listserv in addition to a final 2-page detailed report of the activities at the conference and lessons learnt.
Members’ eligibility for sponsorship selection will be based on the following:
  • Must be a citizen of a developing country.
  • Must work in the public sector preferably for a local organization that cannot afford to sponsor him/her to attend the conference.
  • Membership and strong participation in their IAPHL country chapter discussions and activities will be an added advantage.
  • The association is also interested in how you plan to use knowledge acquired at the conference to improve the supply chain that you work in. Kindly state this clearly when filling out the form.
Members who have benefited from IAPHL scholarships in the past are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.
If you meet the requirements, please complete and submit this sponsorship application form.
Applications will close on Monday, February 11, 2019 at 5pm WAT.
