In 2005, PEPFAR—through the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in partnership with JSI—established the Supply Chain Management System (SCMS) to provide a reliable, cost-effective and secure supply of products for HIV/AIDS programs in 16 countries. Six years after their creation, SCMS now provides over 71 percent of all anti-retroviral medicines (ARVs) funded by PEPFAR. This report details the SCMS contributions to PEPFAR results.
