Vietnam’s National Expanded Programme on Immunisation (NEPI) has since 2010 worked with the Luxembourg Agency for Development Cooperation to strengthen the nation-wide cold chain equipment maintenance system, using an outsourced services model. Simultaneously, a nationwide internal cold chain equipment management program was put in place and continues to be strengthened. On January 8th 2015, Gavi and IAPHL hosted a webinar where the Vietnam team shared their experiences with this method of equipment maintenance management.
