The International Association of Public Health Logisticians (IAPHL) enables people working in public health supply chains, especially in the global south, to connect, learn, and succeed. The association envisions a world where strong, well-run supply chains reach all people with life-saving health products, and supports logisticians worldwide by providing a forum for members to network, exchange ideas, and improve skills. Building on this work, IAPHL will be sponsoring a group of 20 members to participate in the 2020 SAPICS Virtual Conference scheduled for Monday, November 23 and Tuesday, November 24, 2020.
Supply chain professionals attending SAPICS 2020 will have their eyes opened to cutting edge global supply chain perspectives and innovative best practices guaranteed to help senior management improve business performance. Meet with other supply chain professionals to learn from their experiences at this virtual conference and re-connect with colleagues from around the world. From virtual booths to VIP meeting rooms, the FLOOR platform will provide you with the chance to meet fellow supply chain professionals from across industry and the world. The sponsorship will cover conference registration fees. Sponsorship beneficiaries will be required to share their conference experiences with other members by posting daily on the listserv and writing a final 1-page report detailing conference activities and lessons learned.
Members’ eligibility for sponsorship selection will be based on the following:
- Must be a citizen of a developing
- Must work in the public sector preferably for a local organization that cannot afford to sponsor him/her to attend the conference.
- Membership and strong participation in their IAPHL country chapter discussions and activities will be an added
